Elon Musk recently unveiled his latest company aimed at building obstetric AI that could challenge OpenAI’s Chate GPT, Google Bard and possibly other platforms as well.
Elon Musk’s xAI program for general AI development
During the Twitter Spaces session, which was delayed by Twitter needing to “modify the algorithm to promote chat for more users”, Musk said that xAI will work closely with his other Twitter and Tesla companies, noting that the purpose of his new AI company xAI will be “Understanding the Universe”.
Each public AI platform needs massive amounts of data to train its “Large Language Models,” with ChatGPT-3 and Google Bard feeding publicly available data.
Elon Musk pointed out that xAI will use “generic tweets” to train its AI models, the same data and the synthetic AI platform may eventually work with Tesla on the AI software.
Musk said the relationship would have a “mutual benefit” and could speed up Tesla’s work in self-driving abilities.
Musk accused all AI companies of training their models using Twitter data, even describing the use of publicly available data as illegal and claiming to be considering legal action.
Musk recently began to limit tweets to all of her users to stop the dredging of the data outbreak, and may have made that decision, which irritated almost all Twitter users, to prevent tech companies from using Twitter data, raises Musk's potential to want to keep Twitter data for xAI.
