The new Google Calendar provides your work location for certain days of the week, you can now determine when you will be working from home or in the office, and the new update should make it easier for your colleagues to know where you will be if you switch locations during the day according to theverge report.
Once you have access to the feature, you can set your work location by selecting Create from the home calendar page and clicking Work Locations. From there, you can select a date and locate your presence within different time frames.
For example, you can set your work location to “home” from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and to “office” from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
In this way, your colleagues can work on your schedule when organizing important in-person meetings, and the feature is now offered to those who want to share it.
