Often, you lose important chat messages on WhatsApp, whether they are work or study related or contain important data and numbers, but Telegram has a new feature, importing chats from WhatsApp.
Before trying this feature, make sure you have a Telegram 7.4 update because this is the version that brings the migration feature.
How to transfer WhatsApp messages to Telegram:
1- Transfer WhatsApp messages to Telegram on Android
2. Open a conversation in WhatsApp and then tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner.
3- Click Export Chat> Select Telegram in the share menu.
4. You will be prompted to restore with or without media, select the option based on your preferences.
After doing so, you will be able to see the specific WhatsApp chat on Telegram, at the moment, you can only move chats one by one, and there is no way to move them collectively, you can also export group chats using the same method.
There’s also the advantage that messages and media transferred to Telegram won’t take up extra space on your smartphone, and users can optimize storage and control the size of the cache by tapping the Use Data and Storage tab in Settings.
