The popular WhatsApp messaging app recently introduced the message editing feature on its Windows app, it seems that the Meta-owned platform has released a new feature for trial testers of the Windows desktop app.
WhatsApp has issued the new Callback feature for missed calls on its desktop app, which is The “call back” button that appears in an event message when a call is not answered, and is available after installing one of the latest WhatsApp beta versions of Windows from the Microsoft Store, according to WABetaInfo
The Callback button will appear next to the event message created when a WhatsApp call is missed, providing users with a quick way to answer a missed call with just one click.
The callback feature is currently only available for trial testers and is expected to be released to all users soon.
Whatsapp recently launched the Channels feature in India, which allows administrators to send one-way broadcasts to users, including text, photos, videos, posters, and polls.
In addition WhatsApp is actively developing a searchable guide to facilitate exploration of channels that are aligned with users’ interests, such as hobbies, sports teams, and local official updates.
The guide aims to enhance user convenience by simplifying the process of discovering and following important channels.
To join a certain WhatsApp channel, users can easily click on shared invitation links in online chats, emails or posts.
