Meta Platforms, a technology company, intends to launch a microblogging app called Threads, days after Twitter CEO Elon Musk’s announcement, will temporarily set a ceiling for the number of tweets each user can see on social media.
The U.S. channel (Al Harra) reported that Instagram’s Threads app was listed on Apple’s device app store. Assuring that the installation will be available on devices from next Thursday, users will be allowed to follow the accounts they follow on Instagram and keep the same user name.
The launch follows Twitter’s announcement of a list of restrictions on the use of the app, including the need for documented accounts to use TwitterDeck.
